Baguni Mart was amazing — super clean with great lighting that made it easy to check out every aisle. They had a really good variety of different foods, and since it was our first time in an Asian market, we were impressed. Even the prices weren’t bad. Overall, a great experience.
I had heard about this through friends and family and decided to check it out. The store was clean and the costumer service was great, definitely more of a convenience store than a market but I still enjoyed going. I was only stopping for something light so unfortunately I did not try their ramen bar but I intend to soon. Everything I purchased was fresh and good quality, there was seating in the store but unfortunately I am a nervous person and decided to eat in my car instead. I appreciated the wide variety of snacks and frozen treats, I would definitely recommend this place as my experience was positive.
It was crazy full of people, but in the best way! There were so many people trying the Ramen bar that im definitely coming back again just for that experience. I had a full cart of new Ramen favors and other goodies to try, and I still have more things I wanna get next time! It was so clean and organized, and the guy at the checkout was really helpful with explaining some of the items I wanted to try!
🍡🥟🥮🍥 I've been looking forward to having an asain market since moving to Pueblo, as the closest one is in Colorado Springs. The store is very clean and calming (no loud music, soft lights, spacious aisles). They have a lot of popular snacks and a lot of drinks as well as a small selection of produce (mushrooms, ginger, etc). The prices are also reasonable, which is usually a struggle with exported international items. They do have some more unique or specialty products, but I would like to see more (like more traditional asain foods/drinks). This market does have a stationary, kitchenware and beauty/hygene products such as face masks, tea pots and rice cookers. I particularly like their fish products (I definitely recommend the sashimi and braised eel). Their ramen bar was quite popular when I went in. Some of the products were either not labelled or did not have the prices on them, but a staff member was able to help me out and they did make some labels. The staff were very nice in a non-customer service (like they weren't forced to be nice to me) way and it seemed like the staff have a good relationship with both the customers and each other. If I wasn't moving soon, I would make this market part of my regular grocery runs! 🍤🍣🍙🍄🟫
This is THE place to go for your locally crafted kimchi and some really tasty soups and more. Also, you'll find a good selection of Korean-made dumplings (with or without meat). Many excellent selections of instant noodles too. We've sampled many products here and have not been disappointed yet. If I had to make a suggestion to the owners, it would be to throw some Pueblo chiles into their kimchi and other locally made items. This would be a big hit! Also, I was tempted by the fresh looking mushrooms, but they are products of China, which I am leery about, since products from the PRC don't have the same kind of regulatory scutiny as food products from Korea, Taiwan and Japan have. Not to say that all mainland Chinese food products are unsafe, but based upon my professional background, memories of some contaminated foods from the PRC are still fresh in my memory. To summarize, we are very happy to have Baguni in the Pueblo area. No longer do we have to travel to Colorado Springs for high quality Korean foods. Ideally, the market will eventually expand to include more locally produced mushrooms, fresh produce and local cooked gourmet Korean food items. It's all very healthy and tasty. Enjoy!
This store has been a lifesaver for me since I'm no longer in Colorado Springs! It might be a small store but it has a great selection of items to choose from, and you' can't beat the price of the Napa Cabbage! It's super clean and the prices are quite affordable! I haven't tried the ramen there yet but Holy Buckets it looks and smells delicious!
